Our Team
We are all contributing members of a unique operating research foundation. As a specialized research and career service hybrid, our team requires expertise from a variety of fields and experiences. As you can see from the biographical summaries below, our credentials and experience range from human resources, workforce development, and career consulting across the lifespan into test development – – which requires a solid educational foundation in research, measurement and product development. Our combined perspective and experience represents an overlap of the science and art needed to learn and work successfully in this complex and exciting space.
Staff Biographies
Executive Director: Peg Hendershot
Peg joined Career Vision as a career consultant in 1992 and assumed her current role as Executive Director of Career Vision and The Ball Foundation in 2012. With over 20 years experience in aptitude-based career consulting, workforce development, and other career-related issues, Peg is an advocate for the importance of developing a career literate student population and workforce. As a champion for the inclusion of aptitudes in career planning, she facilitates strategic direction for both the assessment and consulting services and the product development and research efforts of Career Vision and The Ball Foundation. Peg has a Masters from National-Louis University and a Bachelors from Northern Illinois University.
Research Director: Kevin Field
Kevin is responsible for the evolution of the Ball Aptitude Battery and the integration of new aptitudes in the computerized format. He is lead in data analytics for the use of aptitudes to ensure the battery retains high standards and for the development of related assessments. Kevin is the technical expert on the different assessments used in the battery, providing leadership in joint product development and research. Since 1999, Kevin has presented findings at national conferences and a co-author of several professional publications. Kevin obtained both his M.A. and Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Minnesota, his MBA from DePaul University, and his BS in Business at Indiana University.
Database & Systems Manager: Victoria Harmon
Vicky oversees the organization’s databases and systems. She works on the research and development of the Ball Aptitude Battery and other Career Vision assessments. Vicky re-joined the foundation in 2013 after having worked there previously from 1998 to 2001. She has presented at various conferences and published in professional journals. Vicky obtained her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, her M.A.in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Roosevelt University, and her B.A. in Psychology from Northern Illinois University.
Career Consultant: Nancy Ryan
Nancy joined the Career Vision team in 1999. Over the years she has used her career assessment and consulting experience to assist hundreds of clients with aptitude-based career exploration, decision-making, and planning. She has also contributed to professional knowledge in the field through academic book chapters, published journal articles, and national conference presentations. Nancy holds both a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology with a minor in Applied Psychological Measurement and an MA in Community Counseling from Loyola University Chicago. Her BA is in Psychology from Benedictine University.
Career Consultant: Mike Williams
Mike is the newest member of the Career Vision team having joined the organization in 2022. Mike leverages his career expertise in human resources management to assist clients to learn how they might best utilize their natural talents and effectively navigate career pathways. Having led the human resources function for an international company for half of his career, Mike employs his broad knowledge and experience in people development, career progression processes, and workplace coaching to offer keen insights to clients on planning and executing their career directions. Mike earned a BBA degree in Marketing with a secondary emphasis in Behavioral Psychology at Western Michigan University.
Customer Service Coordinator: Lynne Bournazos
Lynne is our front-line ambassador, representing Career Vision and welcoming visitors, clients, and callers to our office. She coordinates key marketing, outreach and client service activities that increase awareness of our Career Literacy mission and promote our aptitude-based career planning services. Lynne obtained her BBA from Western Michigan University with a major in Marketing and minor in Administrative Services. Her prior work experience has focused on sales, marketing, and customer service. Lynne enjoys interacting with and assisting Career Vision clients in choosing the best service package to suit their needs.
Community Outreach Coordinator: Georgia Koch
Georgia joined Career Vision in 2014 as the Community Outreach Coordinator. As the former Executive Director of the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce and an enthusiastic resident of Glen Ellyn, she has a strong commitment to helping people discover their paths to success. As a long time resident and reliable volunteer for a variety of roles in the community, she has a knack for connecting people and resources. Georgia has a Bachelors in Biology from Bowling Green State University and a Bachelors in secondary education from William Jewel College.
Test Administrator and Bookkeeper: Susan Gulliford
Susan joined The Ball Foundation & Career Vision in July of 2020 as the Test Administrator / Bookkeeper. She guides clients through their career assessments and works to ensure that every client has a positive, engaging experience. Susan has a BA in Sociology from Ohio Wesleyan University, and she worked as a recruiter and resume writer in the past. Susan enjoys working in the career counseling / planning field.
Technology Assistant: Melody Euhus
As a Technology Assistant, Melody helps with the verification of new technology. She also assists Career Vision consultants by assembling client portfolios. Melody holds a BS in Computer Science from Benedictine University.
